Founded on December 12, 1947, the Central Florida Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity, or CFAC as it is known, has come to embrace - during well over a half century - some 1,500+ Sigma Chi alumni living in the Central Florida (greater Orlando) area. CFAC serves our community through sustained, collective fund-raising efforts on behalf of the Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network and through civic leadership undertaken by our members.
Sigma Chi Fraternity has awarded CFAC with the Alumni Chapter Excellence Award, the Best Alumni Officer Award and the Fratenity's top award for Community Service three years in a row. CFAC initiated a charity golf tournament in 2003, Orlando Scramble for Kids, that has raised over $160,000 benefiting Greater Orlando Children’s Miracle Network. For the 74th Edition of Grand Chapter hosted here in Orlando, CFAC successfully raised over $30,000.
With strong chapter leadership and a large loyal base of alumni members, we continue to provide exciting events and innovative programs to benefit all local Sigs. CFAC has comprised a consistent annual membership base of at least 100 dues-paying Brothers, hosted 3 International Grand Chapters, boasts 2 Brothers inducted into the Order of Constantine and numerous other Brothers into the Significant Sig ranks. In addition, our Central Florida area alumni represent over 180 undergraduate chapters of Sigma Chi.
Our Chapter is moving at light-speed towards additional initiatives that will propel us into further involvement with the Central Florida community while continuing pace to sustain our role as one of the premier Alumni Chapters in Sigma Chi
