Why is Sigma Chi Important to you? The Sigma Chi Fraternity has allowed me to create life long bonds, rare and unique relationships, with men from all walks of life that I otherwise may have never known. I get an extreme sense of pride wearing the White Cross of Sigma Chi across my chest and telling others that I am a Sigma Chi. My undergraduate days were fun and events like Derby Days certainly aided in that area. However, as an alumnus, I see the purpose is much greater and the strength of Sigma Chi is everlasting.”
Why is the CFAC Beneficial to local Sigs? "The Central Florida Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi connects our local brothers with others that have walked the same path. Our goals stretch beyond happy hours and socials. Although important, the benefits go beyond networking or contributing to a charitable cause. We are interested in furthering the ideals of Sigma Chi through supporting our undergraduate chapters recruit likeminded future brothers and assist in developing them into future leaders of Sigma Chi, all the while simultaneously strengthening our bonds as graduate brothers. ”

Why is Sigma Chi Important to you? "The values I found in Sigma Chi as an undergraduate have served as a guidepost in my life and continue to guide me today. They are as valid – and meaningful – as they were when I was initiated back in 1967."
Why is the CFAC Beneficial to local Sigs? "For those that are recent graduates, active alumni involvement affords a ready network of contacts and mentors to help integrate you into the professional community; it also fills the loss of leaving behind active participation in an undergraduate chapter. For those who are raising families and building careers, CFAC membership offers the camaraderie often missing in lives preoccupied by the demand of work and family. For those alumni with grown families, CFAC involvement fills a gap left when the nest empties and provides an outlet for creative mentoring to younger Sigma Chi brothers. For our senior alumni it offers the chance to contribute and give back in some way for what Sigma Chi has given you. It also allows you to relocate long-lost brothers and to re-establish old ties. Finally, it rekindles fraternal bonds of friendship and reminds us of what Sigma Chi truly means to us. I recently witnessed the Ritual at a Sigma Chi initiation attended by over 40 Alumni brothers. It was an exceptionally moving experience, and I can tell you there was hardly a dry eye in the house!"
